Unity’s Opioid Recovery Program helps people who are dependent on heroin or painkillers safely break free from addiction. Our providers can prescribe medication and other treatment options that prevent painful withdrawal symptoms and reduce the urge to use. Group support, individual counseling, and case management are also offered. Walk-in sessions available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Life Stride’s Substance Abuse Day Program (SUDS) provides individual counseling and group services to consumers seeking treatment for addiction. The program is based on a disease model of recovery, taking a 12-Step approach to treatment. Groups are geared to address the complex physical, behavioral, psychological, social and spiritual components that can impair functioning. Treatment modalities include interpersonal skill-building, psychoeducation, reality therapy and cognitive therapy. SUDS is open to adults 18 years and above.
